But I'm Soooo Busy
Success in anything is an equation.
If you figure it out you will be successful.
But we can’t focus on half the puzzle.
We must figure it out entirely.
If you are really good at A but you neglect B then you’ll never get to C.
That's to say that most of us are content with busy but we don't consider productive so we fall short of our expected result.
Busy is our excuse.
It lets us off the hook.
It's there so we don’t hold ourselves accountable to productive.
We feel like if we’re always busy then we must be working hard.
If we’re always working hard then we’ll eventually be successful.
Our justifications for busy leave us short because it's half the problem.
We need direction and purpose to our hard work.
We need production and results from it.
We need to analyze our actions versus reality.
We need to be calibrated to reality.
We need to adapt in reality.
Results are not what we think we deserve.
They are not the justifications we make.
They are simply what we earn.
Grasp this or you'll work an entire lifetime and never get anywhere.
Focus.
If it doesn’t serve you then it has to go.
If it's not working then it has to change.
If it's not enough then it needs to be more.
Dial it all in and watch it compound.
